The Policy describes The Priceless Gift’s policies and procedures for collecting, using, retaining, and protecting your personal information. By submitting your personal information to The Priceless Gift, you consent to the terms and conditions of this Policy.

The Priceless Gift has no control over those other sites, and this Policy does not apply to them. If you choose to donate to The Priceless Gift, you will be required to provide your payment information, including, without limitation, bank account numbers, credit card or debit cards numbers, account details, ACH information, and similar data.

The Priceless Gift’s website is not directed to children under the age of 13. The Priceless Gift adheres to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and will not knowingly collect personal information from any child under the age of 13. We ask that minors (under the age of 13) not use The Priceless Gift’s website. If a child under the age of 13 has provided The Priceless Gift with personal information, a parent or guardian of that child may contact The Priceless Gift and request that such information be deleted from The Priceless Gift’s records.

The Priceless Gift may disclose your personal information and Usage Information to government authorities and to other third parties when compelled to do so by government authorities, at The Priceless Gift’s discretion, or otherwise as required by law, including but not limited to in response to court orders and subpoenas. The Priceless Gift may also disclose your personal information and Usage Information when we have reason to believe that someone is or may be causing injury to or interference with The Priceless Gift’s rights or property, other users of this website or The Priceless Gift’s services, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.

• Publication of Donations. In certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose the name of certain donors, including, without limitation:
• Donations above a certain threshold may be reported to the IRS, or other governmental agencies
• Donations may be listed in our annual report or in other public-facing communications
• Grant applications may require a list of top donors

Notwithstanding the foregoing, to the extent permissible by applicable law, The Priceless Gift will honor a donor’s request for anonymity. The Priceless Gift will not publish the specific amount of any donor’s gift without the permission of the donor (unless otherwise provided, donors of testamentary gifts are deemed to have granted permission).

If you do not wish to be listed in public-facing documents, including but not limited to The Priceless Gift’s annual report, please notify The Priceless Gift when making your donation, or e-mail your request to tony@thepricelessgift.org. Grant applications are not considered public-facing documents.

• How Information is Retained. The Priceless Gift will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy. Different retention periods may apply for different types of personal information. When it is no longer necessary to retain your personal information, The Priceless Gift will delete or anonymize it.

• How Information is Protected. The Priceless Gift takes commercially reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no security system is impenetrable. The Priceless Gift cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the databases of the third parties with which we may share your personal information, nor can The Priceless Gift guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet.
